Giv'at Ram
(Campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem)

A remarkable feature of the Giv'at Ram campus (as opposed to Cambridge) is that it is allowed to walk, run, sit and even lie on the grass!

The Sprinzak Building, where I had an office, can be seen in the background.

One day there was some race competition on the campus and the sponsor of  the local "Chariots of Fire" put a huge bottle there, to make the people feel thirsty and buy one, but of course not such large!

An Ukrainian children riddle reads: "No windows and no doors, but full inside". A correct answer is "Watermelon." Another correct answer that I discovered in Jerusalem is "Hebrew University Library!"

Near the Institute of Mathematics. Here, luckily, we have some windows!
